Advice for Employers carrying out right to work Checks
UK Visas & Immigration have introduced further temporary measures to right to work checks until 5th April 2022 due to COVID-19. All employment checks can be carried out by Video call, prospective applicants/employees can scan documents or photographs for checking by email or using a mobile app.
Employers should record & save all documents as part of their HR "right to work checks" process. A Checking list of documents required to be checked can download via GOV.UK website. Employers can alternatively use their Employer Checking service.
